Badoo's Guide to Online Safety : Online safety tips!
Don't give out any personal information! Keep your address, phone numbers and personal email address hidden on your profile
Be careful having a sexy username, you don't want to give the wrong impression, we suggest using your first name only if you feel more comfortable
Please keep your password secure! Never enter your Badoo password on other sites that offer you discounts on Badoo, free goods etc., otherwise your account may be stolen or blocked.
Please DO NOT give out any financial information to anyone. Be vigilant when people ask for your bank account details, credit card number or any other financial information. DO NOT send any money to anybody. Be especially aware of people who are pretending to be a representative of our company or other companies and are asking to pay for delivery of a prize or service that is not offered directly on the Badoo website. Also, use extreme caution with people who say they are in trouble or who ask for money and promise to return it, most often they use fake photos and will disappear after they receive a money transfer.
When you start chatting to someone new, ask them for some recent photographs of themselves, ideally taken within the last 4 weeks
Don't put up with any abuse, harassment, or other contact you feel uncomfortable with. Feel free to block or report anyone who doesn't abide by our Guidelines.
When you feel ready to arrange a meeting, consider telling a friend where you are going, just to be on the safe side. Always try to speak to someone on the phone first before agreeing to meet up in person.
